Resources For Families That Are Struggling Financially!

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for stopping by, as everyone knows I pay it forward in my community to those struggling financially. I do the honor system which some took advantage of. There are lots of wonderful people out there, but when your family is struggling financially then it helps to get help before it gets too out of hand. I didn’t like to ask for help, still don’t. Sometimes we need to swallow our pride and do it for our family.

Remember that once you get back on your feet, there may be opportunities to pay it forward and not necessarily financially. We can offer our time, support, and help to those we know going through life’s ups and downs.

Click on the link below and you can search for resources in your area. Remember, just because they don’t have the funds one month to help doesn’t mean they can never help. This get you on the right path. Check out the local food pantries in your area, and sometimes they will have a list of resources also.

If you are a single parent and have a large tax refund coming up, try to spread it out throughout the year instead of spending it all at once. Try to remember the financial hardships throughout the year and how an extra few hundred per month can make a huge difference in making sure the bills are paid.

Check and see if you qualify for food stamps. The few hundred you use on food could be put towards a bill to get you back on your feet sooner.

If you know of any resources to help those struggling, please comment below to make a families future a little Hi Everyone!

Start 2019 Saving Money The Easy Way!

Hi Everyone,

Let’s start out 2019 by saving money the easy way! I have two facebook groups that will help you do that the easy way. You may have heard of them, but never tried, The First one is:

The 52 Week Savings Challenge You put the amount of the week into an envelope and at the end of the year, it adds up to 1,379.00! Like the page and I try to post weekly updates on the amount you should have each week. There is no right or wrong way to do the challenge as the ultimate goal is to save money for a rainy day. Tip: Works out to be $26.50 per week.

The Second one is:

365 Day Penny Challenge This one is done on a daily basis the same way. Day 1-= one penny Day 2= two pennies etc. Just get a jar and start putting those pennies in and at the end of the year, you will have 667.00! Tip: Works out to be 12.00 per week

Happy Saving 2019

Super Coupon Woman Has Failed :)

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to apologize for the delay of bringing Christmas deals to help out with the holiday stress. I went down to take care of my brother and mom for a month and on the day before I came back, I got really sick. My mom has been recovering from Pnuemonia and has gotten it four times within a year due to her age. I know they say you cannot catch it, but I feel I did as I caught it right away, yet it didn’t help me from getting extremely sick. I still have conjestion and that annoying cough after three weeks! I have my strength and motivation back at least. I am back to trying to post more regularly and bring some deals your way!

Update: As of 12/30..I am still sick! Hoping to get better in the next few days. I want to stop being that annoying person with a cough and my voice to stop sounding like a frog!

Super Coupon Woman’s Daily Deals on Hold for a bit!

As some of my previous posts stated, I have been taking care of my brother and mom for over three weeks. I had to put my mom in the hospital due to the Pneumonia coming back in her right lung. She’s already home, so I am glad that it was a short stay, but will need to put the daily deals on hold for a little bit. I will start posting deals again once I get home again which targeted date is the week of Thanksgiving.

Look forward to bringing you great deals again soon!

Super Coupon Woman’s Update On Brother and Side Hustles!

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for stopping by and reading this post. A few posts ago, I told how my brother was going to have open heart surgery and I was going down to take care of him and my mom. I quit my job three months ago and then got the news about all this happening, so I was unable to get a steady job not knowing what was going on, and started trying to do some side hustles and looking into ways to earn extra income. I am proud to say that my brother had his operation on October 22nd, and is doing well. He is in a quite a bit of pain and healing slowly, but that is to be expected. I started working with driveline merchandising this week and it is great because I can do it anytime during the week as long as I get it done by the due date. My mom needs quite about of care and attention so supervision is needed. I also have to have an outlet in this current situation, so getting out of the house is very helpful. I am ready to be back home, but still have two or three weeks to go. Say prayers for my family during this time. I cannot work any of the side hustles down here such as the mystery shopping etc, but am confident once I get in my own area, I will be able to make what I need without putting up with horrible bosses that don’t care about me and only care about their paycheck. I will keep everyone update on side hustle opportunities and deals for the holidays, because it’s November 3rd….Only 52 days! When all this started going on, I went ahead and got 90 percent of my Christmas shopping done so it would be one thing less I would have to worry about, and one person won’t tell me what she wants. So only two total to go…that’s ok, I have to save a little shopping for the deals anyway!

Super Coupon Woman Side Income Progress Update!

So I told everyone I would update on my Side Hustle & Work From Home Progress. It’s been a busy week for me, last week I was on Vacation and next week I will be going down to take care of my family for awhile because my brother is having heart surgery. My goal is to work with no supervision, so I want some jobs to do at home but it’s okay if they are not 100% remote if they have flexibility. The best job for that is Mystery Shopping or Merchandising. These companies offer projects that are due within a certain time frame, so as long as they get done during that time, it’s okay to do whenever fits into your schedule. I was trying to make some extra side income before I go stay next week with my family. It was raining and next week seems to be where all the jobs are but that’s okay, I have been doing a lot of training on different things which will allow me to accept more assignments. On my past few posts, you will see that I have been trying lots of different opportunites, and some have not worked out. I am adding the ones that worked out for me along with new opportunities from this week so you won’t have to search for them. Please add referral id as: supercouponwoman@yahoo.com if they ask for one.

I am now certified to do on site business inspections, various auditing, and compliance jobs. I even found a copy that is going to let me work where I am going while I am there, and then have work for me when I am back home. I thought that was super nice. The company is: Driveline Merchandising Click on the link to see if they have positions in your area.

Trend Source Click on the link to sign up with Trend Source who has a variety of projects and lots to choose from. The have the onsite inspections and healthcare compliance shops but you do need to be certified which can be done by following the steps on their website.

IPSOS I got certified to do banking shops and the also offer a variety of other shops to choose from like smart phone inquiry’s, shipping, and more!

Call Center Mystery Shopping I got accepted to be a mystery shopper by doing phone calls at home. Super excited for this one.

Northfork Research Online shopping evaluations and they have a variety of other shops to choose from also.

Gig Spot Gig Spot connects you with mystery shopping and market research companies. Several Mystery Shopping opportunities to choose from.

Jancyn I absolutely love this mystery shopping company. Different mystery shops that include various retail shops. Please use Tina Klein as referral name and supercouponwoman@yahoo.com if they ask for my email.

Intelli-Shop I love this mystery shopping company also. Plenty of shops to choose from as well as a variety and easy to work with. You do have to contact scheduler to reschedule, but I did so without any problem.

Sentry Marketing I have not used them as much as I should, but they have lots of different mystery shops to choose from. I will be doing one Monday for them.

I Secret Shop Has several shops to choose from including web and phone shops. Easy to use, I have done one for them and plan on doing more.

EPMS Mystery Shopping I am signed up but have not done one yet, they are apartment shops and pay $25.00 so can add up quickly. Reports will need to provide precise details. Some shoppers really love to do these.

So Once I am in a routine, I should be able to make a enough from each of these companies to pay my bills, I will always keep searching and will continue to document my successes and failures. If you are new to mystery shopping, keep in mind the more you do them, the easier they are. I have actually been a mystery shopper for 9 years, but am just now having the courage to try some of the new projects such as business verifications etc, so don’t get frustrated or give up. Just like a regular job, you will have good days and bad days where nothing goes as planned 🙂

Super Coupon Woman’s Life Event Update!

Life has thrown me a lot more curve balls than I would like over the past few years. I have been a server for 15 years and absolutely loved it. Cash Every day, good pay and I interacted with all kinds of people. Unfortunately, Feb 6th 2017 a little boy accidentally tripped me making me fall with a full tray of dishes and I jerked my tray back injuring my arm back to keep the dishes from hurting any customers. I did not realize how injured it was and continued to work and my job did not do a workman’s comp claim or encourage me to go to the doctor. They did the opposite and said they did not want me to go.

I had endured a lot of financial loss over the previous years and had just gotten an apartment with my daughter’s help so I felt a lot of obligation’s on my shoulder’s so I continued to work. Nineteen month’s later, I couldn’t take the pain anymore and quit abruptly. I don’t recommend doing that, but had stayed way too long being unhappy and felt they deserved the same respect they showed…none. I really loved serving and without realizing it, did more damage by continuing to work and pretend everything was okay. I now can only lift it half way up in the side position, the other positions I have full range and pain level is between two and three. So in the end, I had to do what I was trying to prevent from happening after the fall, I had to stop serving so my arm can heal. It’s been three month’s and sometimes I feel like it’s healing and other times I feel it’s the same even though I am not working which can be frustrating. They did not care enough to let me go to the doctor, so I can only guess on how to make it better or what the diagnosis really is.

I have always wanted to work at home and even though I did not have much money saved, I took this time to try and learn about different opportunities. I am also taking this time to learn about me because up until now my identity has been as a mom or my work. I want to learn about me and what makes me happy when I am not at work. I will be a mom the rest of my life but my girls are grown so I can take time to try some new career’s without the financial pressure I had as they grew up and solely depended on me.

Since my previous supervisor’s were mean and bullies, I didn’t want to jump into a job just to be unhappy again. In the previous post, I told everyone about some of the side hustles I have tried and decided they were not for me. I do encourage other’s to try them as they are good side hustles and could be what you need to bring in extra money or full time income. Shortly after quitting, my brother that also has a hurt shoulder and his employer treated him the same way. (he was braver than me and got a lawyer) He needed surgery but had to go to a heart doctor to get the okay for them to do it and found out he needs a heart operation so that put’s more pressure on me to find something to work at home since he takes care of my mom who is eighty. The past six weeks has been full of unknowns which made it hard to know what job direction to go.

I was working at TNG and didn’t want to pick up more hours until I knew what was going on. I ended up leaving due to my supervisor making the job more difficult than it needed to be. That’s one of the reasons I loved the job was not having being able to work on my own and have minimal contact with supervisor’s. Meanwhile, I had been applying for other merchandising companies. My brother will be having his operation October 22nd and I will be going down there to take care of him and my mom for about five to six weeks if all goes well.

Once I knew what was going on, I could tell interested employer’s what was going on and see if I could work down there and transfer once I am back home. I am happy to say, one company was happy to do that, I should be training this week and they will wait to hear from me on when I will be available for work once I know my brother’s status. I feel like that was a really nice thing for them to do. The Company is Drive Line Retail I will be a merchandiser and the schedule is flexible as long as you get it done by the due date. (usually within the week) so if you are needing something that you can do on your time schedule, apply today.

Mystery Shopping has been slow this month so very happy to start my new job. I will post on some other work at home job’s I am or have applied to later in the week.

If you are wondering if I am still paying it forward and helping others, the answer is yes! I have a friend that is helping as I am going through all this and she will be picking up donations and giving them out as she finds someone in need. I can’t wait to be able to dedicate more time to it when things get back to normal.

Happy Sunday!
