Super Coupon Woman’s 2019 New year’s Resolutions & 2018 Year In Review

I like to post and share my New Year’s Resolutions with everyone and take a look back at 2018 to see how which resolutions were kept and which ones failed. The past few years have been about healing because I think the last stable year I had financially was 2012! It has taken a toll on me and lose some of my positive attitude. Some days are a struggle, but I a trying to heal each day and get back to being positive and inspirational. Here is a small glimpse of what the past few years have brought me:

2013: Job loss
2014: 10k worth of Vandalism to my car.
2015: Car got T-boned and totaled, tried to do Dave Ramsey Way and went through two more cars and ended up getting a new one with a car payment so I wouldn’t be driving around in an unsafe car. Another 10k
2015: Two Wylie Hail Storms that tore up two cars and house damage also which was in April and trying to recover from that when our business caught on fire Memorial Day weekend. All together, close to 100k in damage.
2017: Fell and hurt my shoulder at work and they would not do the right thing and fix it since I didn’t fight back. I was under severe financial stress and continued to work in pain.
2018: Finally couldn’t take the pain any longer and quit to let my shoulder heal. Did not have savings for this at all. Shortly after making this decision, my brother needed to have open heart surgery, so I went down to take care o him and my mom who was recovering from Pnuemonia. The day before I was to come back, I got sick and have been ever since.

So I am hoping and praying 2019 is a little less financially hard on me. I continued to Pay It Forward through all these road bumps life threw my way.

My 2018 New Year’s Resolutions are as follows:

Find fundraisers to raise money to grow and build Super Coupon Woman Foundation. I did have a Garage Sale that helped me pay for the 2018 Back to School Challenge where I gave out 50 New Backpacks filled with School Supplies.

Continue to focus on myself to heal and grow as we all should each year. Success..I have some areas I would like to improve on but am pretty proud of the progress I have made this year.

Only spend money on paying it forward if budget allows. I did very well and spent under 1,000 including my storage building rent so I am happy with that.

Super Coupon Woman Side Income Progress Update!

So I told everyone I would update on my Side Hustle & Work From Home Progress. It’s been a busy week for me, last week I was on Vacation and next week I will be going down to take care of my family for awhile because my brother is having heart surgery. My goal is to work with no supervision, so I want some jobs to do at home but it’s okay if they are not 100% remote if they have flexibility. The best job for that is Mystery Shopping or Merchandising. These companies offer projects that are due within a certain time frame, so as long as they get done during that time, it’s okay to do whenever fits into your schedule. I was trying to make some extra side income before I go stay next week with my family. It was raining and next week seems to be where all the jobs are but that’s okay, I have been doing a lot of training on different things which will allow me to accept more assignments. On my past few posts, you will see that I have been trying lots of different opportunites, and some have not worked out. I am adding the ones that worked out for me along with new opportunities from this week so you won’t have to search for them. Please add referral id as: supercouponwoman@yahoo.com if they ask for one.

I am now certified to do on site business inspections, various auditing, and compliance jobs. I even found a copy that is going to let me work where I am going while I am there, and then have work for me when I am back home. I thought that was super nice. The company is: Driveline Merchandising Click on the link to see if they have positions in your area.

Trend Source Click on the link to sign up with Trend Source who has a variety of projects and lots to choose from. The have the onsite inspections and healthcare compliance shops but you do need to be certified which can be done by following the steps on their website.

IPSOS I got certified to do banking shops and the also offer a variety of other shops to choose from like smart phone inquiry’s, shipping, and more!

Call Center Mystery Shopping I got accepted to be a mystery shopper by doing phone calls at home. Super excited for this one.

Northfork Research Online shopping evaluations and they have a variety of other shops to choose from also.

Gig Spot Gig Spot connects you with mystery shopping and market research companies. Several Mystery Shopping opportunities to choose from.

Jancyn I absolutely love this mystery shopping company. Different mystery shops that include various retail shops. Please use Tina Klein as referral name and supercouponwoman@yahoo.com if they ask for my email.

Intelli-Shop I love this mystery shopping company also. Plenty of shops to choose from as well as a variety and easy to work with. You do have to contact scheduler to reschedule, but I did so without any problem.

Sentry Marketing I have not used them as much as I should, but they have lots of different mystery shops to choose from. I will be doing one Monday for them.

I Secret Shop Has several shops to choose from including web and phone shops. Easy to use, I have done one for them and plan on doing more.

EPMS Mystery Shopping I am signed up but have not done one yet, they are apartment shops and pay $25.00 so can add up quickly. Reports will need to provide precise details. Some shoppers really love to do these.

So Once I am in a routine, I should be able to make a enough from each of these companies to pay my bills, I will always keep searching and will continue to document my successes and failures. If you are new to mystery shopping, keep in mind the more you do them, the easier they are. I have actually been a mystery shopper for 9 years, but am just now having the courage to try some of the new projects such as business verifications etc, so don’t get frustrated or give up. Just like a regular job, you will have good days and bad days where nothing goes as planned πŸ™‚

Super Coupon Woman Side Hustles Full Time…What are yours?

So I have been through quite a few rough patches over the years where life threw me a curve ball. I just hit another one, and it is really scary but needed to be done. Here’s the story:

In Feb 2017, I was working at a restaurant where a small child tripped me (accident) causing me to fall with a full tray of dishes that I was carrying. Since the restaurant was full, I quickly moved the tray back to avoid any of it hurting or injuring guests causing me to end up with a shoulder injury. They did not go through workman’s comp and I did not know how to handle the situation and just moving into an apartment with no money saved due to the circumstances that happened over the past few years and spending extra on paying it forward so I couldn’t stop working. I endured the pain for 18 months hoping at some point they would do the right thing and get it fixed.

I abruptly quit on July 22nd which was a hard decision for me since I really loved serving. I know most look at it as a job to get them through the next stage in life. I couldn’t tell you how many times I heard others say “I can’t wait to get a real job”. I got to the point that I really don’t care if I ever carry another tray in my life again which took a lot. I have been off about two weeks so far, and had just enough to cover rent and insurance…so a little scary since I need to make at least $400 a week. I am going to share my journey and tell you what I am doing to make money and the side hustles that work, I would like to know what your side hustle is and how much you make per month.

I am getting back into Mystery Shopping and having to resign up for a lot of them and trying to sign up for more because they all offer different shops, and what might work for some might not work for others. I am starting out with some easy ones and trying new things such as compliance shops and price audits hoping to do a lot of different ones to build my profile up. I am wanting to be a scheduler or editor as well although they seem really busy! But, if I can work at home and not deal with mean bosses, I am all for it.

So of course my mind is reeling of how I can bring in income to let my arm heal since I can’t really go get another job without informing them about my hurt arm. Over the next few months I will share what I have done to bring in extra income, and how it’s working. I would love for you guys to comment and let me know what you do to bring in extra income. Please only legitimate opportunities that require no money or very little to start up. I have to approve the post, I have done a lot of research and know most of the legitimate ones from the scams.

So far I have signed up for Shipt and waiting to hear back from them. Some say it takes a few weeks to a couple months depending on if they need shoppers in your area.

Thinking about doing Lyft or Uber Eats, but don’t like to drive highways, just the back roads so not sure if this would be beneficial.

Continuing to do online research and signing up with other mystery shops.

I have signed up for Insta Cart successfully and waiting on my card to arrive.

I have done two shops at I Secret Shop and have three more scheduled for the week that have been super easy and will make $50.00 completing them.

I am taking steps to becoming a price auditor with GFK They require a background and drug test for this step that you pay for but they reimburse you after you two audits.

Going to try and put more time in on my blog, so let me know of some things you want to know about πŸ™‚
