Resources For Families That Are Struggling Financially!

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for stopping by, as everyone knows I pay it forward in my community to those struggling financially. I do the honor system which some took advantage of. There are lots of wonderful people out there, but when your family is struggling financially then it helps to get help before it gets too out of hand. I didn’t like to ask for help, still don’t. Sometimes we need to swallow our pride and do it for our family.

Remember that once you get back on your feet, there may be opportunities to pay it forward and not necessarily financially. We can offer our time, support, and help to those we know going through life’s ups and downs.

Click on the link below and you can search for resources in your area. Remember, just because they don’t have the funds one month to help doesn’t mean they can never help. This get you on the right path. Check out the local food pantries in your area, and sometimes they will have a list of resources also.

If you are a single parent and have a large tax refund coming up, try to spread it out throughout the year instead of spending it all at once. Try to remember the financial hardships throughout the year and how an extra few hundred per month can make a huge difference in making sure the bills are paid.

Check and see if you qualify for food stamps. The few hundred you use on food could be put towards a bill to get you back on your feet sooner.

If you know of any resources to help those struggling, please comment below to make a families future a little Hi Everyone!

Super Coupon Woman Side Income Progress Update!

So I told everyone I would update on my Side Hustle & Work From Home Progress. It’s been a busy week for me, last week I was on Vacation and next week I will be going down to take care of my family for awhile because my brother is having heart surgery. My goal is to work with no supervision, so I want some jobs to do at home but it’s okay if they are not 100% remote if they have flexibility. The best job for that is Mystery Shopping or Merchandising. These companies offer projects that are due within a certain time frame, so as long as they get done during that time, it’s okay to do whenever fits into your schedule. I was trying to make some extra side income before I go stay next week with my family. It was raining and next week seems to be where all the jobs are but that’s okay, I have been doing a lot of training on different things which will allow me to accept more assignments. On my past few posts, you will see that I have been trying lots of different opportunites, and some have not worked out. I am adding the ones that worked out for me along with new opportunities from this week so you won’t have to search for them. Please add referral id as: supercouponwoman@yahoo.com if they ask for one.

I am now certified to do on site business inspections, various auditing, and compliance jobs. I even found a copy that is going to let me work where I am going while I am there, and then have work for me when I am back home. I thought that was super nice. The company is: Driveline Merchandising Click on the link to see if they have positions in your area.

Trend Source Click on the link to sign up with Trend Source who has a variety of projects and lots to choose from. The have the onsite inspections and healthcare compliance shops but you do need to be certified which can be done by following the steps on their website.

IPSOS I got certified to do banking shops and the also offer a variety of other shops to choose from like smart phone inquiry’s, shipping, and more!

Call Center Mystery Shopping I got accepted to be a mystery shopper by doing phone calls at home. Super excited for this one.

Northfork Research Online shopping evaluations and they have a variety of other shops to choose from also.

Gig Spot Gig Spot connects you with mystery shopping and market research companies. Several Mystery Shopping opportunities to choose from.

Jancyn I absolutely love this mystery shopping company. Different mystery shops that include various retail shops. Please use Tina Klein as referral name and supercouponwoman@yahoo.com if they ask for my email.

Intelli-Shop I love this mystery shopping company also. Plenty of shops to choose from as well as a variety and easy to work with. You do have to contact scheduler to reschedule, but I did so without any problem.

Sentry Marketing I have not used them as much as I should, but they have lots of different mystery shops to choose from. I will be doing one Monday for them.

I Secret Shop Has several shops to choose from including web and phone shops. Easy to use, I have done one for them and plan on doing more.

EPMS Mystery Shopping I am signed up but have not done one yet, they are apartment shops and pay $25.00 so can add up quickly. Reports will need to provide precise details. Some shoppers really love to do these.

So Once I am in a routine, I should be able to make a enough from each of these companies to pay my bills, I will always keep searching and will continue to document my successes and failures. If you are new to mystery shopping, keep in mind the more you do them, the easier they are. I have actually been a mystery shopper for 9 years, but am just now having the courage to try some of the new projects such as business verifications etc, so don’t get frustrated or give up. Just like a regular job, you will have good days and bad days where nothing goes as planned ๐Ÿ™‚

Super Coupon Woman Shoe Drive Fundraising Project!

Super Coupon Woman is holding her first ever fundraising project to raise money for Super Coupon Woman Foundation! We are collecting new or gently worn shoes that will help those that have been affected in natural disasters, and raise money For our charity to allow us to continue helping those in need in Wylie and surrounding communities. Super Coupon Woman helps those in need as they are having financial struggles or mother nature throws them an unexpected curve ball such as an unexpected house fire, hail storm, or tornado to name a few. We have donated well over $150,000 to our community by using the power of couponing, and collecting others unwanted items to share with those in need. We now have a storage building full of clothing and various items where they can come shop as they would in a store for items they need. Her Pay It forward circle grows and grows and now needs funds to grow even further to allow her to own her own building one day! Our goal is 200 bags of shoes. 1 bag= 25 pairs so 5,000 total. With everyone’s help this can be done. We need 500 people to donate 10 pairs each. Ask Family and friends to collect even more! Please contact me if you have any shoes to donate especially if you live in wylie or surrounding areas. Fundraising deadline is April 15th, so still plenty of time to collect. I will pick up or we can meet : supercouponwoman@yahoo.com

Super Coupon Woman’s Ups & Downs of 2016!

2016 is coming to a close, and I am really looking forward to new beginnings in 2017. Even though I have made great strides in my Pay It Forward Challenges over the past few years, I have also endured quite a few financial struggles along the way.

The last really good year I remember having was in 2012. Some of the things I have had to overcome include job loss, lots of car issues which included car being totaled, replacing totaled car with a lemon which led to me having to get a new car with car payments to feel safer. (I hate car payments).

This year alone we endured two Wylie hail storms which caused over $8,000 in car damage and at least $30,000 in house repairs which has yet to be fixed since we rent. In May 2016 the business that I own with my ex husband (I know what???) burnt down and we lost everything causing a personal loss of $30,000. Total fire loss was over $300,000 which included several other peoples losses such as our landlord, nephew, and the business next store. Going through these struggles has made me a little down and out over the past few months.

When going through personal struggles especially as devastating as these, It’s hard to see the positive things that have happened also. There have been a lot of positive things that have happened throughout the year also. I was able to reach another $30,000 in donations which included helping 100 children with backpacks filled with school supplies, and over 50 children have Christmas this year and brings my total donations to 125,000 to my community and still going. I had a storage building donated to me from Morning Storage in Wylie, and I finished my book “Cutting Hunger One Coupon At A Time” on Amazon Black Friday 2016 which shares my Pay It Forward Mission, and teaches everyone how to coupon and other unique ways of saving money even without couponing. Everyone that has read it said that once they started reading, they couldn’t put it down and told me how good it was which makes me really proud.

Now that I have accomplished my mission and shared my story in a book that will inspire others to Pay It Forward in their communities, I will be slowing down a little this year and focusing on myself this year, as I tend to put more pressure on myself than I should. For example, I only wanted to do around 25 children for Christmas, but ended up doing over 50 because they were begging me and I couldn’t say no when in reality, I wasn’t too far off from their situation. I don’t think at anytime this year, I have had over $100.00 in my bank account.

Maybe since I have a Non Profit, people assume that I receive financial donations but since I am somewhat shy and haven’t had time, at this time I do not. I ended up being overly stressed due to a few people telling me they would send me a financial donation and backing out. There were a few other things that happened that was upsetting and left me feeling taken advantage of. This left me looking for ways to continue paying it forward, but relieving the financial struggles and extra stress as it was hard to meet up with people and when I took on more children, I ended up feeling like I let the families down because I got very few Thank you’s when I tried so hard. So through all this paying it forward I have learned a few things, and am happy to say I have came up with a way to continue paying it forward without all the stress.

I will be setting up my storage unit as a mini donation store where people can come pick out what they need, and be using very little if any of my own money. I am only allowed to use what others donate to help others or items I get free while couponing as I have spent betweenย $8,000 to $10,000 of my own money since 2014 to help others which I have loved and would not trade this experience for anything, but know that it is now time to focus on myself and build up some savings for a rainy day. Though I am in great health, I did turn 50 this year and need to be prepared in case of an emergency ๐Ÿ™‚

In 2017, I will regroup and get more organized, hopefully learn some ways to fund raise to get back on track to helping families in my community for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other needs when they arise.
