Reeses Pieces Cookies in a Jar


1 box of chocolate cake mix (any brand)
1 bag of Reese’s Pieces Mini Baking Bits
1 large wide mouth Mason jar
Double-sided tape
Gift tag (available to print here)


1. Add the box of chocolate cake mix to the wide mouth Mason jar. Tap the jar a few times on the counter to get the cake mix to settle.

2. Slowly pour in the Reese’s Pieces Mini Baking Bits. You may need to tap the jar again a few times to get them all to fit.

3. Print this gift tag and secure it to the side of the jar with double-sided tape. Decorate the Jar for an added touch.

Fill the Jar with White Chocolate Pretzels and glue 3 black buttons down the middle of the jar and use red felt to tie around the top of the jar to make it look like a snowman and add a cute gift tag that says “I’d Melt For You”

Chocolate Cookie Mix in a Jar
1  Box of Betty Crocker (or your favorite cake mix)
1 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips


  • Carefully empty the contents of the cake mix package into your 1 quart mason jar
  • and gently pat down the top.
  • Pour in the Chocolate Chips
  • Put the silver jar topper on top, and decorate the jar for an added touch
  • attach a label with instructions with the instructions provided below

  • Attach a label {or you can add the instructions to the top of the jar’s lid} with the following baking instructions.
  • Beat together 2 eggs and 1/2 cup Vegetable or Canola Oil in medium bowl.
  • Pour in entire contents of jar, and stir well with spoon.
  • Chill dough for 15 minutes in the refrigerator prior to baking.
  • Then, drop onto ungreased non-stick cookie sheet in rounded balls.
  • Bake for approx. 8 – 9 minutes {or until done} at 350 degrees.
